MissLinnyB - Creative & Technical Director
NAME: Linda AGE: 25 LOCATION: SoCal, USA GENDER: Female MINI BIO: A proper introduction...
First and foremost, I have more nicknames than I care to count but you can feel free to call me Linda. Oddly enough, I was actually named after my mum's sister and my dad's aunt so I don't mind my name too much but I'm sincerely not keen on my middle name since it's far too common and I prefer to be different. I was born and raised on the West Coast of the USA but I simply adore traveling so there's no guarantee how long I'll be here. Actually, on that little note, I'd like to mention that I have the most amazing and brilliant fiancé (who I adore more than ANYTHING) in the whole entire universe. That's mostly relevant to the previously mentioned statement because he used to live on the East coast (before I "kidnapped" him and moved him out here) but his family (especially his awesome sister who happens to be my best friend) and friends still live there and I know we'll be making loads of trips back to visit...so there ya go. That plus I do a lot of traveling around the US of A for work.
Since it's not 100% obvious (yet), I'd like to note that I'm a bit of a "goody-good" and an environmentalist (or "professional tree hugger" as I like to call it). Basically, I do air, water and soil monitoring (as well as the data management, reporting and public education/outreach) for a local environmental Agency who reports to USEPA. Yes, I do have a job (a real one) so that means I'm super old...twenty-five to be exact but that number will be going up (again) in October. Even though I'm ancient, I used to work at an elementary school so I'm pretty much still a little kid at heart...sometimes anyway.
Some of the hobbies I have include writing (short stories, poetry, articles, fanfic, para-RP, etc), reading (just about anything), listening to music (anything but rap or country), watching sports (primarily baseball & Aussie Rules) and...uh...being me. I know that doesn't count as a hobby but, in an odd sort of way, it really is. Habits? I'm a terrible procrastinator and a pushover...which I'm sure nearly everyone knows. Since maths and sciences were always my best subjects (even though I passed my AP English and AP Spanish exams), I’m probably not the best speller in the world either. I'm also a tad dyslexic and have a bit of OCD as well as a knack for being a bit shy. That hardly makes sense, I know, but tis entirely true. Sorta makes one wonder why I always wanted to be a police officer when I was growing up if I've always been shy, doesn't it? Well...a police officer, veterinarian or a conservationist, like my hero/idol, Steve Iriwn. On that note, I'd like to say that I have been to Australia Zoo (home of the Crocodile Hunter) but, sadly, it was on Steve Irwin day...so I never did get to meet him. *sniffle*
How did I end up a part of Slackers Inc.? Evidently I'm decent at "fluffing up" descriptions. That might have something to do with my knack for writing and the mere fact that I enjoy doing it...but who knows, right? There's that and the fact that, I have a very over-active imagination which likes to run wild in an almost creative sort of way. Perhaps that's what gained me the title of Creative & Technical Director? Oh, and even though I'm not a spelling/grammar nazi, I'm also half way decent at proof-reading things.
And there is a bit of insight into the person behind the user name.

Stephen - Founder, Lead Programmer, Site Editor & Forum Admin
NAME: Stephen AGE: 21 LOCATION: Misty Mountains GENDER: Male MINI BIO:
Hello everyone, the names Stephen but a lot of people call me Stevo. I use to work for UPS, for those of you who don't know what that is it stands for United Parcel Service. I use to work in the hub in the load, and then moved into small sort. I'm also a street magician, and got my big break when performing for the Deathly Hallows book release at Books A Million. Ok, maybe it wasn't my big break but it was super cool. I received a free copy of the book for that performance. Not to mention got that Friday off from work at UPS. Moving on, I'm obviously somewhat skilled with computers and technology as I'm the Founder, Lead Programmer, Site Editor & Forum Admin for Slackers Inc. Aside from all that though, I'm also a keyboardist and play piano. When I moved out to Cali to be with my amazing future wife, I had to leave my keyboard back in Jax. It wasn't to long after though, that she bought me a brand new one! It might not be my baby back home, but it does pack a punch. I reckon that's about all I got for now, so don't panic. So long, and thanks for all the fish!

mage20ps3 - Music/SFX
NAME: Andrew AGE: 16 LOCATION: Pennsylvania GENDER: Male MINI BIO: Hey there! I'm Andrew. I live in Pennsylvania, I am 16 years old (yes I'm really that young) and I work on some video and audio editing. I have met this crew and am helping out as much as I can. I am also a part of a small video crew that hope to get their videos out there called Hamburger Jutsu Productions. My video editing crew is called Road to War Entertainment. Check us out at www.roadtowarentertainment.webs.com. As I am only in high school I have not totally decided what I want to do with my life. I am hoping to start into architecture. I may use this to help the overseas military to build temporary camps. Mainly the things I do right now is Airsoft fighting, video/audio editing, and the typical high school things i guess. I hope this crew goes far and am glad to be a part of it. I can't wait to help in any way possible. ;D

Sorry for the delay. I totally forgot about this. Anyway: Nick_v6 - Performance Consulting & Support
NAME: Nick (for real, lol) AGE: 20 (for two more weeks ) LOCATION: Jacksonville, FL GENDER: Male MINI BIO: Well I'm Nick. I was born in California, but moved to Florida when I was little and have since remained. Let's see, I went to high school for Electronics, but was placed in Commercial Arts temporarily because the Electronics classes were full. I ended up staying in Commercial Arts and can now tell you more information than any one person should ever know about fonts. I also use to be a Boy Scout (in a family of nothing but Boy Scouts), so I know a fair bit about a wide variety of things (e.g. first aid, knots, astronomy).
Now I intern/work for the local government's IT department. I sometimes joke that I'm the "House of the IT field." Troubleshooting has always been my strongest suit and I consider broken PCs a puzzle that needs to be solved. I blame my fascination with technology on Stargate SG-1, a TV show that I watched as a kid all the way until it ended. The neat "alien technology" and what they had to do with it to save the day inspired me at a young age.
*Oh to explain my display name: the "v6" does not refer to my last initial in any way. It instead refers to IPv6.
